This brand-new Carcassonne Mega Pack includes the base game and 11 expansions. Whether you're new to the world of Carcassonne or already a seasoned player, the Mega Pack allows you to delve deeper into the essence of the game. All expansions can be used together to create your own unique Carcassonne experience!
Carcassonne Grand Edition invites you to explore the vast world of Carcassonne!
The large box edition includes the basic version and 11 expansions:
-
[Basic Edition] Quickly enter the world of Carcassonne with the Basic Edition! On a tile-based map featuring castles, roads, grasslands, and monasteries, players act as medieval kings, dispatching knights, bandits, farmers, or monks to achieve the highest score! When you spot a great scoring opportunity, will you have minions at your disposal to help you claim it?
-
[Church and Restaurant] Castles and roads are now more valuable, but they don't contribute any points if they're not completed by the end of the game! Being the leader makes it easier for you to seize other players' territories and maintain your majority.
-
[Pigs and Architects Expansion] Merchants engage in fierce business competition, acquiring goods by completing castles; architects allow players to take two consecutive turns, accelerating the construction of castles and roads; pigs make the grasslands more valuable.
-
[Abbot] Besides the monastery, the garden is where the abbot most often lingers. The scoring method for the garden is the same as that for the monastery, but the special thing is that you don’t have to wait until the nine squares are filled before you can score!
-
[Rivers] Twelve river maps replace the original starting map, winding across the green grasslands at the start of the game, adding a new look to the landscape.
-
[Aircraft] Soaring through the skies and taking flight has always been humanity's dream. Now, your crew can finally take to the skies, but who knows where they will ultimately land...
-
[Imperial Edict] The King dispatched messengers on swift horses to bring abundant gifts bestowed by the Emperor to his subordinates who were expanding the territory.
-
【The Ferryman】Although roads crisscross Carcassonne, the ferryman on the lake makes the connections between roads even more varied, and also presents new challenges to the bandits!
-
[Gold Mine] A gold mine has been discovered! People are instantly swept up in a gold rush, scrambling for these glittering metals, even though their value won't be revealed until the game is over...
-
【The Wizard and the Witch】A mysterious magician has arrived in Carcassonne. The wizard's presence inspires the local inhabitants, but the witch denigrates their achievements.
-
[Bandits] Bandits are roaming around Carcassonne! It's best to stay away from them, because they'll shoot whenever someone scores...
-
【Crop Circles】Mysterious crop circles have appeared on the meadows of Carcassonne, emanating a mysterious power that affects nearby knights, bandits, and farmers.
The only changes to the art design of the outer packaging and instruction manual of Carcassonne 3.0 are that of Carcassonne 2.0.
Carcassonne 3.0 and 2.0 share the same art design and are compatible; they include river expansions and abbot expansions for even more fun!
★What is Carcassonne 3.0?
The rules of Carcassonne 3.0 are the same as those of Carcassonne 2.0 and Carcassonne 1.0. The only difference is the cover art and instruction manual design. It is named Carcassonne 3.0 to distinguish it from the previous two.
★Can Carcassonne 3.0 be used with other versions?
Carcassonne 3.0 and Carcassonne 2.0 have the same game sections and are compatible!
However, unlike the art design of Carcassonne 1.0, the connection points on the tiles may not fit perfectly when placing them. Those who mind this are advised against mixing them. Some expansions that only add regular or independent terrain tiles will have little impact on gameplay. (Examples: Carcassonne Maze expansion, German Cathedral expansion)
