Farmhouse: Swamp Farmer is a popular expansion of the 2016 revised edition of Farmhouse, bringing more new elements and changes.

Until the last century, people relied on extracting peat to heat their homes and cultivating new farmland. Forests served a similar function.

In this Swamp Farmer expansion, you'll start the game with forest and swamp tiles on your farm. You must use special actions to remove them and gain more space to build farmland and pastures. Removing these tiles will provide you with wood and fuel, which you can use to heat your house. If you can't heat your house, your family members will fall ill and be taken to the infirmary.

This expansion also adds horses as a new type of animal.
