The revised version of the best-selling "Tales of the Strange Town Card Edition" main game, set in Arkham, Massachusetts, is filled with bizarre events, all pointing to an ancient evil god. You will take on the role of investigators, using various cards to solve these mysteries while maintaining your sanity.
The basic gameplay of Tales of the Strange Town is not adventure, but campaign.
You might get hurt from your adventures, your sanity might be strained, and you might even alter the landscape of Arkham by burning down buildings.
The consequences of all your choices and actions can far exceed the solutions available to the immediate situation.
Your actions may earn you valuable experience, better preparing you for the adventures that still lie ahead of you.
The only difference between the revised version and the original is the increase in the number of cards included, supporting up to four players instead of two. If you already own this series, you do not need to purchase it again. However, if you are a new player to the series, we highly recommend using this version of the main game as a starting point.
The following keywords will be corrected in the new version of "Tales of the Mysterious Town Card Edition":
Preparation → Reorganization
Consumption → Horizontal
