"Kōryūmaru" is the new partner of Tenbu Kakeru, a relative of Hoshibe Wataru in the series. The kit is made based on the common frame of the "Mazinger Creation" series. The kit uses new parts to reproduce the cool look of Kōryūmaru, which resembles the armor of a Sengoku daimyo. The dragon heads on the shoulders are reproduced with gold metallic parts, while the dragon wheel of the Kōryū staff and many special effects on the body are reproduced with transparent blue parts.
Because it adopts a common movable frame structure, it can achieve an excellent range of motion in a 3-4 head-tall design, reproduce battle scenes and special moves from the show, and freely replace parts such as the head, body, limbs, and armor by using the same size latches and joints. It can also mix and match parts from the Mazinger Z series to create your own Mazinger.
