Before the game starts, each player takes the infantry, knights, siege vehicles and battleships of their own family, as well as command tokens and other required accessories.

Each player also gets a stack of family cards, which feature important characters from A Song of Ice and Fire to use as leaders in battle.

After a total of 10 rounds of the "Game of Thrones" board, the player who controls the most castles and fortresses wins the game. But what may seem like a simple military advantage to control multiple desired areas at the same time actually requires a blend of more diplomacy and subterfuge.

This game is the second version of the original best-selling game of the same name and will enhance your "Game of Thrones" experience. It incorporates elements from the original expansion pack, including ports, main city garrison, wildling cards, siege vehicles, etc.

At the same time, it also adds some welcome innovations: player screens can conveniently shield your plans from prying eyes, while new battle cards bring more risk changes to battles.
