The two color schemes are designed with the appearance and color scheme of a fire dragon and a thunder wolf dragon, respectively, and are fully printed on all sides of the casing, giving it a cool patterned look. The hardware specifications are basically the same as the reissue released for Digimon's 25th anniversary, featuring a color LCD screen, USB Type-C charging capability, and even the ability to connect with the previously released COLOR series for cross-world battles between Digimon and monsters!

The software is a unique version specifically made for Monster Hunter, including Rathalos, Zinogre, Rajang, Nargacuga, Strange Dragon, Fomigant, Tigrex, and Black Dragon , with a total of 36 monsters available for training, including standard versions, subspecies, and variant versions. It also allows users to replace classic Monster Hunter backgrounds such as volcanoes, deserts, snow-capped mountains, and towers, and plays 8-bit sound effects like "Hero's Proof" during battles and victories!

This collaboration also invited Kenji Watanabe, the soul designer of the Digimon series, to draw exclusive original monsters, which can also be raised in the monster battle machine. They are "RathGreymon (レウスグレイモン)" which is a fusion of Rathalos and Greymon, and "ZinwoGarurumon (ジンオウガルルモン)" which is a fusion of Zinogre and Garurumon .
